Eagles draft FB Stanley Havili

30 Apr 11

With the 37th pick in the seventh round (240 overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles snagged one of the top fullbacks available in USC's Stanley Havili.
The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Havili proved to be quite the capable offensive player for the Trojans, carving out his niche on offense as not only an excellent threat out of the backfield, but also as a capable receiver.
Havili's 84 career receptions during his tenure with the Trojans are a school record for a fullback and good for 25th overall on the USC career receptions list.
In 2010, Havili appeared in all 13 games for the Trojans and rushing 26 times for 166 yards and 1 touchdown, while also catching 32 passes for 396 yards and 2 touchdowns.
With the selection, Havili becomes the seventh member of the USC family to be picked in the 2011 NFL Draft.
