All Pro Science Adds NFL’s Nick Folk to its Athlete Endorser Team
Irvine, CA- All Pro Science, Inc.™ (APS) announced that it has added NFL New York Jets Kicker, Nick Folk, and MLB Washington Nationals pitcher Anthony Slama, to its professional athlete endorser roster known as, TEAM APS. TEAM APS currently has NFL talent such as Warren Moon, Will Shields, Naufahu Tahi, Devin and Jason McCourty among its ranks. TEAM APS also features non-football talent such as Colorado Rockies All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and MLS Goalie Zach Thornton.
Folk attended the University of Arizona as both a punter and kicker and earned All-Pac 10 honors. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2007 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, with 131 points, Folk broke the single season record for most points by a placekicker. That year he was selected to serve as the NFC's kicker during the Pro Bowl having gone 26-31 in field goal attempts and making all 53 extra points he attempted during the season. On October 11, 2010, Folk became the first Jets kicker to kick five field goals in a home game since Pat Leahy achieved the feat in 1984. The next week, Folk set a franchise record for the longest kick, making a career long kick of 56 yards against the Denver Broncos.
Anthony Slama was drafted out of the University of San Diego, where he played for the San Diego Toreros baseball team as a right-handed pitcher. Slama spent the 2008 season with the Twins' affiliate, Fort Myers Miracle, helping them to capture the Florida State League first-half West Division title with an undefeated record and 12 saves. That year, alongside a few teammates, Slama was named onto the 2008 Florida State League All-Star game. Slama ended with a 1.01 ERA, 25 saves and 110 strikeouts in 71 innings to earn All-FSL Team honors, the Jim Rantz Award Twins' Minor League Pitcher of the Year and MILB.com's "Best Class A Reliever." Anthony made his major league debut for the Minnesota Twins on July 21, 2010, against the Cleveland Indians where he had two strike outs to finishing the victory
