2009: Named to the All-Pac-10 second team ... won the UW's L. Wait Rising Lineman of the Year award for the second straight season ... also picked up the defensive weight lifting award at the team banquet ... finished his Husky career having started all 49 games ... started all 12 in 2009, 11 at defensive end and one (UCLA) at defensive tackle ... finished his career with 30 sacks to set a new Washington record ... posted three sacks vs. California in the final game of the season to set the record ... in the game, a 42-10 win over the 19th-ranked Golden Bears, had a season-high seven tackles, including four and a half for loss, while also recovering two fumbles ... in the Huskies' 30-0 Apple Cup victory over Washington State, notched four tackles, including two and a half for a loss and one and a half sacks, while also recovering a fumble ... two sacks and a forced fumble at Arizona State ... five tackles, including a sack, in the win over Arizona ... four tackles, one and a half for loss and one sack in the victory over Idaho ... two tackles, half a sack and a fumble recovery at Oregon State ... four tackles and a forced fumble at Stanford ... two tackles, a sack and a forced fumble at UCLA.
